The success of our Marching Wolverine Band program depends greatly on the continued support from loyal alumni, friends and community supporters who recognize the value of the Marching Band experience and are essential to the program's success. Established in 2009, our F.A.N.S. Program (Financial Aid for Needy Students) is our scholarship program which enables many students who would not otherwise be able to march the opportunity to participate. It is dedicated to the ongoing improvement and strengthening of the band program. Our goal is to NEVER deny a student the opportunity to march due to financial issues.
If you would like to donate to the scholarship fund, please enter any amount below. Thank you for your dedication to the music program at Woodstock High School.
All Donations to the Band are tax deductible. Please email treasurer@thebandatwhs.com for a tax receipt.
By participating in our marching band, students develop crucial skills such as discipline, time management, and teamwork. They have the opportunity to boost their self-confidence, grow as musicians and performers, and cultivate a deeper appreciation for the arts. In addition, involvement in the band promotes improved physical fitness and overall health, while also fostering strong bonds with peers and creating lasting memories through shared experiences like performances and competitions. As a band program we have many expenses each season such as uniforms, competition fees, transportation to events, color guard equipment, instruments, sheet music, copyrights to music used each season, props for our marching band shows, and more. We thank you so much or supporting our band! If you prefer to donate by Venmo, our Venmo username is @WoodstockBandBoosters. We'd love to see you at one of our shows at a home football game or one of our competitions! Our theme this year is Beetlejuice and it is going to be amazing!
